About this Episode
League of Legends Worlds is actually going to be played in a LAN environment in Shanghai. This will be the first major esports competition to happen in a LAN environment since the pandemic began. The bubble system has been used successfully by the NBA and MLS so far but it does cause a potential problem. In this episode we look at why two Vietnamese teams won't be competing and how Riot adapted. Plus the LCK, the lone holdout in the move to long-term partnership (franchised) based esports leagues is changing next year. Riot announced the top ten as negotiations begin.
